Community Choir Auditions
. AUDITIONS AUDITIONS AUDITIONS will be held Sunday, November 9th at 4:00 pm at the OPERA HOUSE. I need to know if you are planning to audition by WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 5th. There is a children’s solo: Somewhere in my memory (0 to 6th grade) and a women’s solo: Go light your world. (I can’t remember what I said but that can be 7th grade and above). If you are absolutely not able to attend Sunday for auditions, you will need to contact me and I will arrange a time. But please, please try and do on Sunday.
I would like EVERYONE (high school and up) who can make it, that is NOT auditioning, to please come and be on the audition panel. We will take a private vote and I will announce the soloists later that evening. (Depending on the amount of auditions, will determine how long we will be there.)
What is expected at auditions:
- Recordings are on the drive. (only 1 key for children’s song, but 2 keys for women solo…you can choose either). I will have speaker and recordings ready.
- You will sing, holding and singing into a microphone to the recording I made.
- Please have memorized and make it a concert performance.
- No help or comments will be done that day. You will just go on stage and sing and then leave. Once I know who is auditioning I will give you an exact time to attend. It will be a 5 minute time slot.
