DESCRIPTION:Timothy Olson record on the Pacific Coast Trail. \nIn 2021\, Ultra runner Timothy Olson\, two-time winner and previous record holder of Western States 100 Mile race AND originally from Amherst\, Wisconsin\, set out to complete the 2\,650-mile Pacific Crest Trail in the fastest known time. Timothy set a new world record against all odds. A race against the fastest known time\, an extreme environment of record breaking heat\, an onslaught of wildfires\, trail closures and an impending due date.\nCome join Timothy (in person) as we watch the journey that took more than 50 days and averaged 50-miles/day. To top it off\, his crew was his family\, including his young kids!  Let’s get together and get inspired by Tim’s story.\nThis event is FREE and the public is welcome to attend.
